I checked Real Racing 3 and did one farming stint because I got me a 150% cash bonus, then checked my Race Team. Says it needs an update. So I checked the App Store. Look what I found when I verified it on Facebook just now.

Meanwhile Forza is extorting us for Nascars.

Actually, in the RR3 Wiki, a user finished the current event for the McDreamy Porsche, spending just 195 Gold. I got me 525 in the bank, so that’s reasonable, considering how good it the pack is in general.

I do wish they added in the older 458 GT2, though.

My point wasn’t EA’s money grubbing, although that is definitely a thing, it's about the worrying trend of useless shit Microsoft wants Forza players to pay for

Hope these challenges won’t be as gold grabbing as “Front Runner” that last one was crazy hungry for gold for car that was barely driveable (Hennessey Venom GT). Really looking forward to get the Le Mans Ford GT and the gorgeous Jaguar C-X75.

Eh, don’t worry. Last reports for the current event fall at about a solid 200 Gold average expense. I have 525 banked in, so it shouldn’t hurt a lot, and since it’s a career-like series and not a daily event, it’s more manageable.

Plus, unlike that Lotus, the RSR is quite dank. Mountains more grip, so even at the relatively low top speed you can load the car to a corner and attack. Fits my hound-and-dive racing style.

I have currently 9,295 Gold saved up (over the past 2 years) so I shouldn’t have to worry but Gold are still way too hard to earn IMO.

The RSR is balanced and precise exactly what you expect from the Germans and the Venom have way too much power, just like the say: Absolute power, corrupts absolutely.

Can I loan a grand?

Oh how I wish RR3 will let me transfer gold, I also wish they allow us to sell cars from our garage that we never use in a million years. Really want to get rid of my 2014 Lexus IS 350

OK, maybe money transfer would be too much to ask, but I’d like to see P2P selling and/or a practice mode with cars in stock builds, plus a Quick Race mode a la Asphalt 8, where you select the event and track.

Agree on the option of practice mode, like a test drive. I don’t think money transfer is that far fetch, since this game is a community where you can find friends and race each other, it would be nice to do money transfer so you can give R$ or Gold as gifts.

I don’t know. I groaned when RR3 got NASCAR, but they come back with that machinery. Maybe just the quality.
